Position: FPI Inspector
- Location: Jupiter, FL
- Status: Full-Time, Hourly Non-Exempt
- Schedule: Monday-Thursday 4-10’s, optional overtime on Friday
What You'll Do:
- Inspect Aerospace Components: Perform visual and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) inspections, including X-ray, FPI, ultrasonic, and more. Ensure all components meet the highest standards.
- Analyze and Interpret Data: Review blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to evaluate incoming components and systems.
- Work with Cutting-Edge Tools: Use precision measuring equipment and small cranes to ensure accuracy and safety.
- Collaboration: Work alongside engineering and order execution teams to improve work instructions, routers, and inspection processes.
- Maintain Compliance: Ensure adherence to Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) guidelines, handling waste and materials responsibly.
Who You Are:
- Experience: At least 2-5 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing, aviation production, or a similar environment. You should be well-versed in NDT and visual inspections, with a deep understanding of technical drawings and work instructions.
- Certification: FPI Level 2 or 3 (Level 3 preferred). If you have advanced on-the-job training, we still want to hear from you!
- Detail-Oriented: You have a sharp eye for precision, ensuring every part meets strict quality standards.
- Team Player: You work well in a collaborative environment and are eager to contribute to continuous process improvement.
- Physical Capabilities: Comfortable working in various physical conditions – lifting to 50 lbs., kneeling, crawling, standing for extended periods, and navigating noise and safety hazards as required.
Minimum Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED.
- Tools & Software: Familiarity with MS Office, SAP, and timekeeping applications.
- Training: You will complete EHS regulatory training as needed to ensure compliance with environmental standards.
